The Montecito Picture Company, run by Ivan Reitman, Tom Pollock and Joe Medjuck, has picked up a sci-fi-tinged adventure comedy pitch from Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend's Girl) titled Field Trip, says the Hollywood Reporter.
Paramount and Walden Media also co-financing Field Trip's development.
The logline is being held under a veil of secrecy, but the story is known to involve time travel, a high school teacher and his students. The Montecito principals will produce with Greg Lessans.
