MACGRUBER!!!
I have to say going in to this film, I was looking to pick it apart and find something really bad. And I didn't. but I'll get into that. First the plot, the movie centers around Ex-special operative MacGruber (Forte) is called back into action to take down his archenemy, Dieter Von Cunth (Kilmer) , who's in possession of a nuclear warhead and bent on destroying Washington, D.C. Also starring Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe.
To start out the chemistry in the film between the characters is really good. Everyone here seems like they were having the great time. I laughed threw out the film. The best parts are when you can tell the cast were improvising. It did have its down points, but not to where I wanted to leave the theater, like I thought I would.
Theres a lot of low brow humor. Which isn't bad, but I can see for some people can go to far and be unfunny. To me the low brow stuff was really funny. But it didn't hurt if they fix it a little bit.
This is better than the average SNL film. As the say on the commercials. I agree its the best since Wayne's World. They made MacGruber a cool, interesting character. You like spending time with him. All around a fun character. The same with the supporting cast who keep it together from getting to crazy.
Overall, this is a fun time at the movies. And because of that I'll give this a Worth It!!! Its a great time and you'll more than likely laugh your ass off with a celery stick up your ass.
