Edward Norton Will Not Appear In Future Marvel Films!?

Source: HitFix

As most of you probably saw over the weekend, HitFix reported that Marvel parted ways with Edward Norton in terms of his involvement with the character Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk and the upcoming superhero spectacular The Avengers. Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment will cast a new actor in the role.

After Marvel and Norton failed to reach a deal despite the actor's enthusiasm to work alongside Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and others on the 2012 tentpole, things started to get ugly when the studio, and production guru Kevin Feige in particular, said "the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members" as the principle reason for his exclusion. Norton's talent agent, Brian Swardstrom of WME, then fired back with a scathing response that called Feige out. Since then, speculation has run rampant regarding who will portray the Mean Greenie in The Avengers.

All now patiently wait for Saturday at Comic-Con, when Joss Whedon is supposedly going to introduce his entire cast for theThe Avengers and then we'll finally know who will be the third actor to play Banner on film.
