Here is this weekends top 5 movies that stood strong at the box office.
~Starting off in First place we have 'Valentines Day' coming in at $51,410,000 this weekend. No surprise there, considering this weekend is valentines day.
~In second we have, 'Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief'. Again not to much of a surprise, its a kids film that looks almost identical to 'Harry Potter'. It finishes this weekend with $31,100,000.
~Third we have, 'The Wolfman' my favorite movie that came out this weekend. To me I think it would have done better if it was released in the Summer or ever better during Halloween.
~Fourth we have, 'Avatar'. Still staying strong with a weekend gross of $22,000,000. And an over all gross of $659,605,000 (domestically).
~And Fifth we have, 'Dear John' with a weekend gross of $15,300,00. And an total gross of $53,178,000.
