According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has just signed on for two more projects.
David Guggenheim has sold his original screenplay Safe House to the company after pitching offers from several studios.
In the script's story, the only surviving agent of an attack on a CIA safe house must find a way to transport a dangerous prisoner to a second safe house while they are pursued by forces that want them both dead.
Meanwhile, Universal has scored domestic distribution rights to the comedy Larry Crowne, which stars Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.
Hanks, who also directed the tale of a man re-inventing his life, wrote the screenplay with Nia Vardalos.
