Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese recently sat down with MTV to discuss the movie's sequel.
The most notable point said is that they are interested in giving Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) a love interest, though they haven’t worked that out yet.
Additionally, while they plan to keep the main cast of Tallahassee, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone), and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) together, there are plans to introduce new characters.
Meanwhile, Reese and Wernick also plan to further explore the coming-of-age storyline for Little Rock, the younger sister of Wichita: “Growing up in a world that’s not necessarily geared towards growing up; it’s a world that forces you to grow up much quicker than you would have otherwise.”
