Okay lets get the plot out of the way. The movie revolves around June Havens (Diaz) who finds her everyday life tangled with that of a secret agent (Cruise) who has realized he isn't supposed to survive his latest mission. As their journey to stay alive stretches across the globe, they soon learn that all they can count on is each other.
Now I went into this movie hoping to really like it. But as I moved along through out the film, I saw the negatives. To keep it simple this movie is basically a James Bond film, told by the point of view of the "Bond Girl". In this case its' Tom Cruise being Bond and Cameron Diaz being the Bond girl. Which gives the film, its big downfall.
This movie could have been really cool. But what they do through out the action scenes is drug June. So you don't to get to see any of the cool action scenes. Which there's a few that look awesome, but right as you think; "Yay! A cool action scene!?". June gets drugged and we don't get to see the scene play out.
That is the big thing that made me mad about the movie. You don't get to see the cool parts. But there is a couple and I mean only a couple scenes where they let you see it play out. And those 'Couple' are pretty cool.
The acting isn't bad, on Cruise's part. It like he went back to the old 'Mission: Impossible' part of his self. But he was more of a jokester. Which I like about his character. Now Diaz is a different story. She was very annoying. She complained about everything through out the film.
One last note, The title of the movie makes no sense. You'll understand when and if you see the movie.
