"Daybreakers" Movie Review

Now were talking vampires! Forget all that "Twilight" bullshit. This is what I been looking for in an vampire movie. The movie is directed by the Spierig brothers. So let's talk plot, the movie takes place in the year 2019, a plague has turned pretty much every human into vampires. Faced with a fading blood supply, the broken dominant race planes their survival; meanwhile, a researcher; played by Ethan Hawke, works with a secret band of vamps; played by Claudia Karvan and Willem Dafoe, on a way to save humankind.

Now that we got the plot out of the way, your probably asking yourself "Hey, Bach! what about the acting?!" Well I'll tell you crazy reader. The acting was pretty damn good. I really liked Ethan Hawke in this movie and the same goes for Willem Dafoe. They both seemed to have a nice grip on the characters they were playing.

I didn't like the acting by Claudia Karvan to much, her performance was a little stale to me. But I can get past that. There is a lot of action in this movie, which is awesome it made the movie for me. And the ending gets pretty brutal. But yet again, I think this is what we have been missing in vampire movies lately.

So over all I would have to give this movie a WORTH IT! Check it out if you can, you won't be disappointed. (FUN FACT): The Script for this movie was originally supposed to be the script for "Blade III", but it got thrown out. I think this would have been a awesome idea for "Blade III", instead of the shitty third Blade that we got. just my thoughts.
